It was a full house last weekend for teaching artist Marlene Taylor’s The Art of Macra-weaving class at the Santa Paula Art Museum. Students learned the basics of macrame and weaving, and each participant took home their own beautiful wall-hanging! This week we’re looking forward to two more classes and two holiday events…
Free Family Day
Sunday, December 1: 12:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m.
Free admission
We’ll show you how to repurpose, reuse and recycle common materials for crafty decorations and artsy gift giving inspired by the values of generosity, sustainability and gratitude. Admission is free and all are welcome. Free Family Day also coincides with Free First Sunday at all four of Santa Paula’s museums.
You’ve heard of Black Friday, Small Business Saturday and Cyber Monday, but have you heard about Museum Store Sunday? When you purchase a gift from our museum store, you also support our work in the community. Museum Store Sunday is Sunday, December 1. Come and shop with us!

Free admission
Sip, shop and support the Museum during Champagne and Shopping on Sunday, December 8! Shop for unique gifts from the Museum’s gift shop and 25 local artist vendors including original art, bags, apparel, jewelry, home decor, cards, pottery, nuts, jams, chocolates and more. Admission is free and all are welcome.
