Here’s what is happening at the Museum in September!
LIVE MUSIC: STUDIO C
Sunday, September 10, 2017, at 4:00pm
$10 Members // $15 Non-members
On Sunday, September 10, the Museum’s beautiful atrium gallery will be transformed into a concert hall for “Studio C,” a contemporary four-horn, nine-piece jazz band. Studio C’s sound is reminiscent of the Big Band era, a la Basie, Benny Goodman, Duke Ellington, and Glenn Miller. Accompanying the band will be vocalist April Brandenburg performing selections from the Great American Song Book.

FREE FIRST SUNDAY

Free Admission
Admission to the Museum is free every first Sunday of the month. Bring your family and friends to see our current exhibits, “Golden State Splendor” and “Pilot’s Discretion,” on Sunday, September 3, and everyone gets in free!

“BEYOND THE AESTHETIC” WITH STEVE CURRY

Artist Steve Curry is one of the 55 California Art Club artists currently featured in the Museum’s “Golden State Splendor” exhibition. Curry will host our September gallery talk, sharing how the California landscape has inspired his creative process.
DOCENTS WANTED
The Santa Paula Art Museum is looking for volunteers to join its fun and friendly team of docents! Docents assist museum staff in a variety of activities, including welcoming visitors and helping at special events. No previous experience is required, and training is provided.
