Gallery Talk: Creative Time Travel with Lois Freeman-Fox
Saturday, March 10, 2018, 2pm to 3pm
Fillmore artist Lois Freeman-Fox will describe how artists can experience a type of time travel through their choice of artistic medium. Freeman-Fox will relate how she herself left the 21st century behind and embraced the 16th century when she changed from digital painting to oil painting.  Admission is $4 for adults, $3 for seniors, and free for students and members.

Gallery Talk: History of Animation

Saturday, March 17, 2018, 2:30pm to 4pm

To further explore the theme of Setting the Scene (the Museum’s current exhibit of historic fine artists who worked in Golden Age Hollywood), freelance illustrator Lala T. Konrath and video game artist Anita McLaughlin will discuss the history of animation. Admission is $4 for adults, $3 for seniors, and free for students and members.

The Eighth Annual
Fine and Decorative Art Auction

Saturday, April 7, 2018, at 3pm

The Museum’s Art Auction on April 7 is our biggest fundraiser of the year! Dozens of artworks – ranging from stunning oil and watercolor paintings to decorative glass, pottery, and prints – will be offered in both a silent auction format and during a thrilling live auction. Follow the link below to browse a complete catalog of the items that will be up for bid. Admission to the event is $15 for museum members and $20 for non-members. All proceeds benefit the Museum and its educational programs.

New Pop-Up Art Shop
The Museum is excited to announce that, periodically, we will be using one of our gallery spaces as an extension of the Museum’s gift store. Featured in our Pop-Up Art Shopwill be artworks by some of our favorite local artists (both historic and contemporary) and all of them are for sale! If you would like to purchase an artwork from the Pop-Up Art Shop, please consult a staff member during your visit or call the Museum. Once purchased, the artwork is immediately yours to take home.
