Santa Paula Art Museum — Time Flies When You’re Making Art

On Valentine’s Day 2020, the Santa Paula Art Museum will celebrate its tenth anniversary. As we look forward to a new decade of providing our community with meaningful art and educational experiences, we find ourselves feeling immensely proud and grateful for the Museum’s success over the past ten years. First and foremost, we must thank you, our supporters, for being so devoted to helping the Museum fulfill its mission.
Since opening in 2010, the Museum’s staff and board have worked diligently to build a robust arts community. Over the past ten years, more than 34,000 people have visited the Santa Paula Art Museum. We have produced 66 original fine-art exhibitions that have featured 3,200 artworks by 1,100 artists, and the Museum’s permanent art collection has grown to include nearly 300 works of art. In 2018, the Museum doubled in size and programming with the opening of its Cole Creativity Center. Having hosted over 30 engaging studio courses (including low-cost and “pay-what-you-can” options) and over 250 students to date, the Center has proven to be an exciting and welcome resource here in Ventura County.
The Museum is especially proud to inspire and support young artists. Our Atmore Gallery features rotating exhibitions of student art from various schools, art clubs, and community partners around the county. Since 2010, our ArtSPARK school tour program has served over 12,000 local students, and our very popular, monthly Free Family Days offer access to the arts and extend a sense of connection to more people in our community.
This is your Museum, and all of its good work depends on you. Make a donation today and give the gifts of art, creativity and community to yourself, your family, and your neighbors. With your contribution, you are helping to preserve the artistic legacy of the Santa Clara Valley and enhancing the quality of education and life in this region. Thank you for your continued support!
The Santa Paula Art Museum is a 501(c)(3) charitable organization #2478728. Your donation is fully tax-deductible as allowed by law.
