This Week at the Museum
Take a look at what our over 100 visitors created during the Museum’s Free Family Day event last weekend! Artist Gabriel Cardenas led a group-paint mural project exploring ancient symbols used by indigenous cultures, to which our visiting families added their own personal touches over the course of three hours. Thank you #SPAMfam for creating such a wonderful work of art! Remember, Free Family Day is every first Sunday of the month from 12:00pm to 3:00pm at the Santa Paula Art Museum. And local teens ages 13-18 can join Gabriel for Teen Art Group every Friday from 4:30pm to 6:30pm. Participation is free.

Face of California
Exhibition closes Sunday, September 15, 2019
Face of California features 41 works of art by 33 artists that seek to capture the “face” of California, depicted in mediums as diverse as the state they endeavor to represent. In giving a face to California, the featured artists have created a vast array of images that evoke California’s character – its places, people, ideas, and stories. Be sure to visit this week before the show is gone!
