We’re starting the new year with a new art project during Free Family Day on Sunday, January 5! Inspired by artist Andrea Vargas and her “Care Bags,” we’ll show you how to turn everyday shopping bags into art for activism! Admission is free, all are welcome, and all materials will be provided.

Join artist Jodi Bogart for this painting and journaling workshop that will include a step-by-step process to help you identify your core desires, tap into your passions, and shape your new year! All skill levels are welcome.
Teen Acting and Storytelling Workshop
(Ages 13-18)
Saturday, January 25: 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.

Teens will explore the craft of storytelling through exercises and activities, focusing on the Meisner acting method and others.

Learn the basic elements of composition, color and value, atmospheric perspective, and traditional techniques in oil painting.
Class: Eco Flower Printing (Ages 12+)
Saturday, March 21: 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.

Using the eco-dye technique, students will work with seasonal flowers and plant-based pigments such as indigo and turmeric to create beautiful prints on natural fabrics.

Birthday Bash

To mark the Santa Paula Art Museum’s 10th birthday, we’re throwing a big Birthday Bash on Saturday, February 1, 2020. We are so proud of what the Museum has accomplished over the past ten years and we are ready to celebrate with all of our supporters! The event will be a fun filled evening featuring live music by Ryan Quinn and Sounds of the Collective. Quinn received a four-chair turn from Adam Levine, Pharrell Williams, Christina Aguilera and Blake Shelton on NBC’s “The Voice!” Guests will also enjoy cocktails, creative experiences, a champagne toast, and more.
