Grab a glass of bubbly and shop for unique gifts during Champagne and Shopping at the Santa Paula Art Museum! Browse beautiful, handmade items by a dozen local artist vendors, including original art, handmade jewelry, bags, ceramics, decor, and more. The Museum’s popular gift shop will also be filled with new items to explore. Plus, enjoy live holiday music and festive treats. Admission is free for everyone. Reservations are not required.

Drop by SPAM’s Cole Creativity Center on Sunday, December 4, for Free Family Day featuring fun and festive art projects like paper sculpture reindeer, watercolor and oil pastel ornaments, dip-dye coffee filter snowflakes, and fiber-art finger beanies! Admission is free, all are welcome, and all materials are provided.

$5 Craft Night: Holiday Gift Tags (Ages 12+)

$5 per person

Add a creative touch to your gifts this holiday season with the help of $5 Craft Night at SPAM’s Cole Creativity Center. Teaching artist Mariann Romero will supply everything you need to make gift tags galore: specialty papers, design templates, buttons, stamps, raffia, and more. Advance registration is required.

$5 Craft Night: Craft Stick Ornaments (Ages 10+)

Tuesday, December 6, 2022, from 6 PM to 8 PM

$5 per person

Craft your own holiday ornaments during a cozy $5 Craft Night inside SPAM’s Cole Creativity Center. Teaching artist Mariann Romero will be on-hand to guide you, and you’ll leave class with multiple ornaments to hang on your tree or to share with family and friends. This class is appropriate for everyone ages 10 and up. All supplies are provided. Advance registration is required.

Live Figure Drawing (Ages 18+)

Thursday, December 8, 2022, from 6 PM to 8:30 PM

$20 per person

Join teaching artist Jem Morris inside SPAM’s Cole Creativity Center for the Museum’s final Live Figure Drawing session of the year. The class will start with a short tutorial, followed by free sketching time with a nude model. Live Figure Drawing is appropriate for artists ages 18 and over. Basic materials are provided. Advance registration is required.

Artist Talk: John Galan

Saturday, December 10, 2022, at 2 PM

Included with regular admission

Saturday, December 10, is your final chance to meet the artist everyone’s talking about. Artist John Galan will lead a 45-minute talk and tour of his current exhibition, Remedios (Remedies), starting at 2:00 PM. Galan will discuss his experience as a contemporary Chicano artist and educator, and share the stories behind his deeply personal works. Reservations are not required.
