After 24 years of service and dedication to the Topa Tower Club, Robert Lopez, who most recently served as the club’s general manager, has purchased the private member city club in Oxnard, Consortium Media Services reported March 30 in a media release.
Lopez, who is professionally certified in cooking and hotel management from L’Ecole Hoteliere de Nice in France, came to theUnited States 35 years ago to further his hospitality career. He worked at a variety of restaurants and hotels across the country before joining the Topa Tower Club’s staff in 1987.
“Throughout my career at the club, I’ve enjoyed watching a great business grow and thrive,” said Lopez. “As the new owner, I look forward to ensuring that all guests experience the highest standard of service which is elegant, relaxing and attentive.”
Lopez’s first goal for the club is to restore its original “The Tower Club” name and logo. He then plans to solicit member feedback to ensure make sure his services are relevant and reflective of their needs.
