AGOURA HILLS — Registration is now underway for the Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Conejo Valley’s Winter 2019 coed Jr. NBA Basketball League.
The season kicks off with a free Basketball Clinic offered from January 6-27, on Sundays, at the Los Cerritos Middle School Gym, 2100 E. Avenida De Las Flores, Thousand Oaks. The clinic is open to ages 5-6 from 12 to 1 p.m.; ages 7-8 from 1 to 2 p.m. and ages 9-12 from 2 to 3 p.m.
The Winter Basketball League takes places on Sundays at the Los Cerritos Middle School Gym for ages 3-12 from February 10-March 31. An Evaluation Day is scheduled for February 10.
The cost is $120, which include uniform, award, plus individual & team pictures. The low-competitive sports programs are designed to help kids learn the basic rules, skills, and fundamentals of the sport, which emphasizes the value of teamwork.
