The Office of Ventura County Supervisor John C. Zaragoza will hold a Town Hall Meeting regarding the proposed Supervisorial Redistricting Program at 6 p.m. Wednesday May 25 the Oxnard Public Library at 251 So. A St., Meeting Room B, Oxnard.
The County is undergoing federal supervisorial district boundary adjustments using the new census population estimates, Zaragoza stated in a media release. The County Board of Supervisors has had several meetings regarding redistricting; an introductory meeting on April 5, and two public meetings — the first being on April 26, and the second on May 10.
“I want to share with residents the latest information presented at our public hearings, including what was discussed at the Board of Supervisors, and receive comments or questions the public may have,” Zaragoza said.
Chris Stephens, director of the Resource Management Agency will join Supervisor Zaragoza for the presentation.
There is no charge to attend and participate in the Town Hall Meeting, and no need to register prior to the event at 6 p.m. Wednesday, May 25 at the main branch of the Oxnard Library in Meeting Room B.
