VENTURA COUNTY — Rebozo Festival, Inc., is pleased to announce that awards of up to $30,000 will be granted to qualified non-profit organizations that focus on the cultural, social and/or educational needs of the Ventura County community. The application process will open September 1st and will close September 29th, 2023 at 5:00 pm.
Rebozo Festival, Inc., encourages non-profit organizations that meet the following requirements to apply: Nominated organizations must be located in Ventura County serving primarily Ventura County Latino residents and must be an IRS 501©(3) non-profit organization/institution or operate under the fiscal sponsorship of a qualified organization/institution.

Past recipients include: ANIMO Theatre Co., PASSFL-Physicians for Social Responsibility, LA Chapter, The Abundant Table-Solidarity Shares, Clinicas Del Camino Real, Boys & Girls Club of Camarillo, Friends of Field Workers-GSN (Grocery Security Net), Assistance League of Ventura County, Nyeland Promise, American Association University Women-AAUW, Reel Guppy Outdoors, Future Leaders of America, Casa de Vida, United Parents, BattleGround, Inc., Mixteco/Indigena Community Organizing Project (MICOP), the Heart 2 Heart Program, Inlakech Cultural Center, United Farm Workers Freeze Relief Fund, the Oxnard College Foundation Scholarship Program, and the United Way Community Action Fund.
The 2024 Rebozo Festival, Inc., grantees will be honored at the 20th Annual Rebozo Festival, to be held on May 19, 2024 at Camarillo Ranch.
The Rebozo Festival is a unique cultural event that promotes the rich heritage of the area by highlighting the colorful Mexican rebozo (shawl) as the theme.
