This year, with the help of Allee and Sue, we’re excited to present Vuelo de las Almas—an art gallery showcasing works by over 20 artists, each created on a wooden monarch butterfly canvas. The gallery will be held inside the Chapel, with a meet-and-greet hosted by Allee and Sue at 5 PM.
Meet this year’s Art Gallery Curators
Allee Amore
Allee Amore is a multifaceted creator a hairdresser, visual artist, and microblader who celebrates beauty and cultura. As a proud mother and feminist, she draws inspiración from her roots and comunidad to tell powerful, personal stories. An activist at heart, Allee uses her art and her voz to uplift resilience, empowerment, and remind others that you can be self taught and rise. Honored and humbled to be curating this year’s Panteón Fest and bring a pedacito of our beautiful culture to our community.
Sue Franco
Sue Franco is a tattoo artist, piercer, and visual artist from Tepatitlán, Jalisco, “Place of Hard Rock.” This background reminds me of the strength I find in my two children, my pillars and greatest inspiration. I live in Ventura, California, and create with a love for nature, the sky, and its infinite colors, guided by the mystical and the esoteric. I share my life with my wife and embrace gender equity as part of my artistic vision. This year, I have the honor of curating the Panteón art gallery.
