CAMARILLO — The West Ventura County Business Alliance (WVCBA), the chamber of commerce advocating for businesses in Camarillo and Oxnard, is celebrating the grand opening of Palmera at Camarillo Village by Williams Homes located at 530 S. Lewis Road in Camarillo.
The resort-style community features 285 townhouses with exclusive resident amenities including a state-of-the-art Community Recreation Center, two swimming pools and spas, and plenty of visitor parking. Also coming soon is Camarillo Village, a retail and mixed-use area right next door.

WVCBA, Ventura Chamber of Commerce, and Camarillo Merchant Association will co-host the official grand opening ribbon cutting ceremony on Thursday, March 13, from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. Confirmed guests include the City of Camarillo’s Mayor Kevin Kildee and Vice Mayor David Tennessen, and Ventura County Board of Supervisor Kelly Long. Additional local dignitaries and community members are expected to attend alongside members of the Business Alliance, and the chambers of commerce for Ventura, Santa Paula, Fillmore, and the Greater San Fernando Valley. It is free to attend.
Event Highlights:
- The ribbon cutting ceremony will begin between 4:00-4:15 p.m.
- Guests can tour three model homes, each showcasing delicious cuisine from local restaurants like Twisted Oak Tavern, Fresh Curry Chefs, Lola Betty’s Tony’s Pizza, and Finney’s Crafthouse.
- Complimentary beverages will be provided by Great Western Home Loans.
- There will be music and a live broadcast by 99.1 The Ranch with giveaways.
