Melinda Palacio
Melinda Palacio will sign and read from her debut novel, “Ocotillo Dreams,” at 7 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 27 at Chaucer’s Books, 3321 State St., Santa Barbara.
The book is set in Chandler, Arizona, during the city’s infamous 1997 migrant sweeps and brings to life the social issues that arise from border policy and economic inequity, according to a media release.
