OXNARD — Oxnard College’s Latino Thought Maker Series will present the free program, “An Evening with Esai Morales” at 7 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 20 at the Oxnard College Performing Arts Center Auditorium, 4000 S. Rose Ave., Oxnard.
A self-described “actorvist,” award-winning actor Morales has combined his passion and understanding of the human condition to build bridges across and beyond ethnic lines, organizers reported in a media release. Throughout his career, Morales has been an advocate for countless charities and causes, including literacy, environment, health, immigration, arts funding and social justice issues, as well as his consistent evolutionary message inspiring youth to strive toward a higher purpose and meaningful life.
