OXNARD — The National Association of School Psychologists (NASP) declared November 13-17, 2017 as School Psychology Awareness Week: “Power Up! Be a Positive Change.”
The Oxnard School District recognizes School Psychologists for the important and vital role that they play in the personal and academic development and success of Oxnard School District students. School Psychologists collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to create safe, healthy, and supportive learning environments that strengthen connections between home, school, and the community for all students.
Under the recommendation of Amelia Sugden, Director of Special Education, and Robin Freeman, Assistant Superintendent of Educational Services, the OSD Board of Trustees approved the Adoption and Presentation of Resolution #17-14 in recognition of 2017 School Psychology Awareness Week.
