Oct. 9 — Ventura Housing to host inaugural State of Ventura Housing Breakfast

VENTURA — Ventura Housing (formerly the Housing Authority of the City of San Buenaventura) announced that it will host an inaugural State of Ventura Housing breakfast at the Livery @ Rumfish y Vino, on October 9th at 8:30 a.m. The inspiring morning will feature real stories of impact from participants whose lives have been transformed by affordable housing in Ventura. California Housing & Community Development Director Gustavo Velasquez has been invited to speak alongside Jeffrey Lambert, CEO of Ventura Housing. Lambert will share a look back at the agency’s 76-year legacy and share the vision for Ventura Housing’s future towards addressing Ventura’s affordable housing needs. The State of Ventura Housing breakfast promises to deliver both inspiration and actionable insights as attendees explore how collective localized support creates lasting change in our community.

As CEO since August 2023, Jeffrey Lambert brings over two decades of community development expertise to his role, having served as Community Development Director for both the City of Ventura and City of Oxnard. His background includes strategic planning and development work with the Ventura County Community Foundation as Chief Operating Officer, and extensive consulting experience through Lambert Consulting LLC.
