About the Los Angeles Italian American Golf Association: It all started more than 30 years ago when Dr. Lucatorto, Nicholas Tirabassi, Dan Cirino and Rubin

Mariano wanted to celebrate their Italian Heritage, through golf with friends while raising money for a great cause.  Through the years, the LAIAGA has raised more than $300,000 dollars for numerous charities.  Although the men that started this legacy are no longer alive, the tournament continues  to operate thanks to the men that followed, and vowed to keep this tradition going for years to come.  Over the years, LAIAGA has raised money for a number of charities which include Juvenile Diabetes Research, National Kidney Foundation, American Cancer Society, Guide Dogs of America and the Villa Scalabrini Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.  Recent recipients have included the Michael Hoefflin Foundation for Children’s Cancer,  The San Genaro Foundation, Hillsides Home for Neglected Children, Circle of Hope and Boys and Girls Clubs of Greater Conejo Valley. The goal of the LAIAGA is to continue to make a difference in the lives of others.  Many business and community leaders are on board as well as hundreds of individuals. The community is clearly excited and eager to see this tournament succeed.
