SANTA MARIA — After a successful campaign with the event last fall, the Allan Hancock College men’s basketball program is preparing once again to scare and delight the community with the return of the “Frightmare Forest” haunted maze.
The three-acre haunted maze is located at Hancock’s basketball and softball complex and is adjacent to the college’s vineyard at 800 South College Drive in Santa Maria.
Maze runners brave enough to enter the eerie labyrinth will navigate their way through an entanglement of tricks and spooky surprises. The event also serves as a fundraiser for the men’s basketball program.
“We’re excited to bring Frightmare Forest back again this year,” shared Coach Tyson Aye. “We had a great turnout last year from the community and we’re happy to get back to building a tradition where kids of all ages, their friends, and their families could come to experience a good old-fashioned scare.”
Frightmare Forest will run from 7-10 p.m. on October 24th, 25th, 26th, and 31st. Attendees are invited and encouraged to wear their Halloween costumes.
Tickets for the maze are $15 per person and can be purchased on-site or online at ahcbulldogs.com/ticketing. Free parking and the entrance to the maze are located at the baseball and softball complex.

Despue?s de una campan?a muy exitosa el an?o pasado, el programa de ba?squetbol masculino de Allan Hancock College se prepara para asustar a la comunidad de nuevo con el regreso de su laberinto “Frightmare Forest” para 2024.
El laberinto de tres acres estara? ubicado en el complejo de be?isbol y so?ftbol de Hancock, junto al vin?edo del colegio en el 800 S. College Drive en Santa Mari?a.
Los que sean lo suficientemente valientes para entrar al laberinto tendra?n que navegar el camino a trave?s de muchos trucos y sorpresas escalofriantes. El evento tambie?n servira? para recaudar fondos para el programa de ba?squetbol masculino de Allan Hancock College.
“Estamos muy emocionados de organizar Frightmare Forest para 2024”, dijo el entrenador Tyson Aye. “Asistieron muchas personas el an?o pasado y estamos muy emocionados por establecer una tradicio?n en donde nin?os de todas las edades, sus amigos y familiares podra?n recibir un buen susto.”
Frightmare Forest estara? abierto de 7 a 10 p.m. el 24, 25, 26 y 31 de octubre. Los disfraces de Halloween son recomendados.
