Hear from local nonprofits and community members on the incredible work they are doing in our community. These informational calls are free to attend with English and Spanish interpretation, and started to better understand the needs in Ventura County. Gain valuable insights into the specific initiatives, projects, and programs through sharing their success stories, the impact of their work, and identifying their needs.
Please join VCCF for a Virtual Lunch & Learn on Thursday, October 23 from 12 to 1 p.m. with special guest Dr. Caroline Prijatel-Sutton from the Coalition for Family Harmony. This month, the Coalition is celebrating its 50th anniversary, also coinciding with Domestic Violence Awareness Month. Caroline will share about their work in our community, and their impact in helping families rebuild stronger, children find safety, and survivors discover new hope. Learn more about their mission to provide direct services to victims of domestic violence and sexual assault; to educate the community regarding violence against women, children, and men; and to prevent the cycle of violence.
