OAK PARK — Triunfo Water & Sanitation District is sponsoring a free, hands-on workshop on drip irrigation Saturday, October 2 from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at Mae Boyar Park (130 Kanan Road in Oak Park). The class is free and open to the public, although priority registration will be given to customers of Triunfo Water & Sanitation District.
Workshop instructors are from the University of California Master Gardeners of Ventura County. Participants will learn the benefits of drip irrigation, review the required components, and assemble a drip system that they can recreate in their own landscape. Everyone will take home a detailed guidebook as well.
The workshop will take place outdoors (weather permitting) adjacent to the recreation center. In the event of rain, the event will be held inside the building.
