CAMARILLO — Big Brothers Big Sisters of Ventura County’s (BBSVC) much-anticipated, ninth-annual Bags, Bling & Bubbly champagne luncheon will return to Las Posas Country Club in Camarillo on Monday, November 6th. The stylish event, benefitting BBSVC, begins at 11:00 AM with an amazing array of new designer and vintage handbags, jewelry, and accessories available for purchase or by auction.
Bags, Bling & Bubbly welcomes the honor of recognizing this year’s Wise, Wonderful Women of 2017, Laila Ali. Now making her mark as a highly regarded wellness and fitness expert and lifestyle brand CEO, Ali has used experience and her title as four-time undefeated boxing champion to advocate for children as well as women’s equality in professional sports.
The event also invites the Big & Little Sisters of 2017 to share the story of their unique one-to-one mentoring relationship, a very special friendship and bond, with guests.
Debuting as event chairperson for 2017, Marya McFadden says, “We’re delighted to welcome Ms. Ali to our exciting Bags, Bling & Bubbly luncheon. This year is shaping up to be a spectacular afternoon of glitz and charm, with a few new glamourous treats!”
Early-bird tickets are priced at $90 each ($100 after October 16th) and are advance-purchase only; no tickets will be sold at the door for this exclusive event. There will also be an opportunity drawing for a $5000 cash prize; only 200 of these sought-after tickets will be sold at $100 each (winner need not be present to win). All proceeds from the Bags, Bling & Bubbly champagne luncheon help provide the financial support Big Brothers Big Sisters of Ventura County needs to help serve youth in one-to-one mentoring programs in our schools and community.
