SANTA MARIA – The Allan Hancock College Concert Band will perform their annual Fall Pops Concert on Saturday evening, November 4th, 2017 at 7:30 PM.
CONCERT DETAILS:
- WHO: HANCOCK COLLEGE CONCERT BAND
- WHAT: A Pops Concert by a college band that features 80+ musicians in a standard “wind band” style configuration with percussion. Mr. Greg Stoll will be conducting the group for this concert.
- PROGRAM: A Patriotic Salute In The Presence of Heroes The Phantom Regiment Fanfare, Canto and Fandango Egmont Overture A Tribute to Charles Strouse Pop and Rock Legends: Armed Forces Salute The Mamas & The Papas America the Beautiful and as always, an encore
- WHEN/WHERE: Saturday, November 4th, 2017 at 7:30 PM. First Baptist Church, 2970 Santa Maria Way, Santa Maria, CA. The concert is performed in a large church with very comfortable seating and plenty of free parking. A pre-concert verbal description of the music will be given by our musicologist, Sandy Eastman, beginning at 7:15 PM.
- ADMISSION: There are advanced sales of tickets, and there is an admission charge for this event for the general public and students, faculty and staff of AHC. Tickets are available from any band member or by calling the number listed below. Tickets will also be available at the door.
- Student members of local High School and Junior High School bands are welcome at this concert free of charge.
