Expo will provide residents with important wildfire safety and fire prevention information.
THOUSAND OAKS — The Ventura County Fire Department in partnership with the City of Moorpark will be holding a Public Safety Expo Thursday, November 20th from 6pm to 9pm. The goal of the expo is to provide the community of Moorpark with important wildfire safety and fire prevention information, including our Ready-Set-Go program, the latest information on Zone 0 clearance, wildlfire hazard maps, evacuation information and much more. The expo will also cover important fire prevention tips and information concerning lithium ion battery safety.
Speakers at the event will include Moorpark City Manager PJ Gagajena, Ventura County Sheriff Captain Nick Odenath, and from Ventura County Fire Department Division Chief Tony Occhipinti, Fire Marshal Joe Morelli, Battalion Chief Joe Williams, Captain Pat Kelly, and Public Information Officer Andrew Dowd. The event will also be live-streamed at www.moorparkca.gov/FireExpo for residents unable to attend in person.
