Among the ongoing offerings is iPad for Beginners, which teaches students how to fully utilize the many accessibility features already on their Apple devices, such as a screen reader and magnification. Braille Institute also offers hands-on courses getting students out from behind the desk, such as Self Defense, which emphasizes learning to maximize one’s ability to be safe in life, both in public and private.
