No Kings Day rallies are planned throughout the Ventura, Santa Barbara and San Luis Obispo counties region on Saturday, Oct. 18, 2025 in protest of the policies of the Trump Administration. The rallies are being organized by Indivisible and supported by a variety of organizations.
“In America, we don’t put up with would-be kings,” Indivisible stated in a variety of posts.
“Our peaceful movement is only getting bigger and stronger. “NO KINGS” is more than just a slogan—it’s the foundation our nation was built upon. Born in the streets, carried by millions in chants and on posters, it echoes from city blocks to rural town squares, uniting people across this country to fight dictatorship together.
“The president thinks his rule is absolute. But in America, we don’t have kings, and we won’t back down against chaos, corruption, and cruelty. Grow our movement and join us.
“As part of a nationwide day of action, we’re mobilizing to defend democracy and protect fair representation for all Americans. When politicians rig the system to guarantee their victories, democracy itself is under attack.”
In Ventura County, No Kings protests are planned in Fillmore, Simi Valley, Thousand Oaks in front of the Los Robles Regional Medical Center, The Oaks Mall area; the Ventura County Government Center and Westlake Village
In Santa Barbara County, protests are planned for Carpinteria, Lompoc, Santa Barbara, Santa Maria and Santa Ynez
In San Luis Obispo County, protests are planned for Arroyo Grande, Cambria and San Luis Obispo
A core principle behind all No Kings events is a commitment to nonviolent action. We expect all participants to seek to de-escalate any potential confrontation with those who disagree with our values and to act lawfully at these events. Weapons of any kind, including those legally permitted, should not be brought to events.
