2020 Protest Collecting – Museum of Ventura County
The Museum is encouraging organizations and individuals to submit their stories, images, videos, artwork, and other documentation of the regional activism that is currently taking place in response to recent murders of black Americans and racism in American culture.
The Museum’s goal is to create an online resource and archive of these materials, to document this historic moment and the community’s response to it for future generations. We encourage you to share your experiences, photographs, videos, artwork and more.
BRIDGE BUILDER VIDEO
The Hobson Family Legacy: Episode 1
MVC is pleased to present the first installment in our four-part video documentary series on the extended families and descendants of Isabel Winemiller and William Dewey Hobson. The Museum was set to honor them at the 2020 Bridge Builder Gala in April so instead created this video series as an additional way of showcasing the extraordinary impact this family has had on the region.
