VENTURA — The Museum of Ventura County will present the exhibit “Last Exit: Tortilla Flats” with a reception at 5:30 p.m. Friday, Sept. 13 at 100 E. Main St., Ventura.
The exhibit highlights a community in west Ventura displaced with the coming of the 101 Freeway. The event includes a “Wear to Party!” which will present a selection of clothing from the collection depicting the different types of social events and activities that took place over the last 100 years in Ventura County.
The event includes a no-host bar social hour starting at 4:30 p.m., followed by a buffet Mexican dinner at 5:30 and music and dancing at 7:30 p.m. Tickets for the dinner/reception are $25.

MB Hanrahan and Moses Mora will then share the history of the Tortilla Flats Mural with a panel of former residents who will tell stories of the old neighborhood from 2 to 4 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 14 at the Museum of Ventura County, 100 E. Main St., Ventura. Admission is $5.
