Are you a member of the Museum of Ventura County? The Yalinkatian Family is!
“For our family, it is important to keep places like the Museum up and running. The memberships allow them to feature exhibits that we otherwise may never have learned about or discovered before and have events that cater to everyone, young and old. And have you checked out the most amazing living bee hive at the Agriculture Museum in Santa Paula? How would you ever have been close enough to see one if it wasn’t for that?”
Membership at the Museum of Ventura County connects you to an engaged community. You will be supporting museum outreach programs, maintenance of the collection and facilities, and the Research Library. But more importantly, you’ll be investing in the community — your community.

|
All membership levels include free admission to both the Museum of Ventura County and the Agriculture Museum in Santa Paula, invitations to members-only events and advanced notice of upcoming events, exhibits and more!
“The Museum offers us reason to get us out of the house. There is always something new and exciting, and taking a few hours to get the kids out and us parents for that matter, is refreshing. Even going back to see the same exhibit, you can always catch something you may have missed before”.

On Location in the Santa Monica Mountains and Seashore is now open at the Santa Paula Art Museum! “We like to say we’re painting it forward,” says Timothy Kitz, a longtime member of the Allied Artists of the Santa Monica Mountains and Seashore. For Tim and all of the group’s members, their objective is simple: “We’re painting to preserve the environment and we’re having a lot of fun doing it.” On Location in the Santa Monica Mountains and Seashore is an exhibition comprised of the Allied Artists’ most recent works. All of the 72 artworks in the exhibition are for sale. A percentage of artwork sales will be donated towards conservation of the Santa Monica Mountains National Recreation Area.
On Location in the Santa Monica Mountains and Seashore will be on view at the Santa Paula Art Museum through November 3, 2019. The Allied Artists will host several talks and painting demonstrations during the run of the show. More information can be found on the events page. Featured artists include Jacquelyn Blue, Liz Blum, Maria Harmony Gratia Bruchmann, Pamela D’Ambrosio, Susan Flanigan, Marian Fortunati, Barbara Freund, Carole Garland, Emily Goldfield, Donna Jean Goldstein, Helen Groenekamp, Diane C.
