Museum of Ventura County — Last Chance! Actual Reality, Music by the Masters and more Closing Soon

The Museum of Ventura County at 100 E. Main St. in Ventura will be closed August 19 — September 20, 2019 for renovation. This exciting transformation will be complete in time for the opening of California Cool, a new exhibit on mid-century modernism on the central coast of California.
The Agriculture Museum in Santa Paula will remain open Wednesday — Sunday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Also, be sure to join us at the Agriculture Museum for the 7th Annual Labor Day Vintage Tractor Fair on Monday, September 2, 2019 from 10:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Admission is FREE!
Generously sponsored by the Topa Topa Flywheelers, the Labor Day Vintage Tractor Fair provides visitors the opportunity to take the operator’s seat on vintage tractors, participate in tractor crafts and much more. Other attractions include pie eating contests, apple bobbing, bouncy houses, and many other exciting, family-fun activities! The Museum’s annual Labor Day Vintage Tractor Fair offers good old fashion fun for every member of the family, and is a great opportunity to explore the Museum’s latest exhibit on the Compton Cowboys.
Opening on Labor Day, this new exhibit features photographs documenting the work and mentorship of modern-day urban cowboys working with at-risk youth in South Central Los Angeles.
This is your last chance to see Actual Reality, Music by the Masters and Love, What’s It To Ya’ at the Museum of Ventura County! All three exhibitions close on August 17, 2019.
Major funding for these programs is made possible by the City of
San Buenaventura, the County of Ventura and private and community donors.
