This panel discussion, led by UCSB students, explores Seeping Into History: Oil Touches Everything a UCSB print/public art installation on Santa Barbara’s Stearns Wharf. Seeping Into History: Oil Touches Everything is an exhibition that explores our contemporary and historical relationships to fossil fuels, with a focus on the local Santa Barbara area.

Teaching artist Chelsea Willett will lead participants in creating organic figurative forms using clay and found objects. Inspired by the current exhibition at MCASB, This Basic Asymmetry the workshop will explore our inner worlds, channeling them into our work as figurative or abstract representations.
