San Luis Obispo County musicians are encouraged to apply for ARTS Obispo’s Mini-Grant program that provides financial assistance up to $500 to individuals of all ages, the organization reported recently in a media release.
ARTS Obispo set up this program to encourage creative opportunities and activities in the arts in San Luis Obispo County. Mini-Grants are open to all San Luis Obispo County artists, but more money is currently available for musicians through a donation from the New Times Music Awards.
These grants are awarded throughout the year on a case-by-case basis and are based primarily on the artistic merit of the proposal, need of the applicant and amount of money available for granting.
