Meet Ojai author-turned-artist Christopher Noxon at the premiere of his first one-person show of paintings, “Greenbelt: Interplay and Imagination on the Edge of Wildness,” on Saturday, May 11! Featuring 25 all-new works in acrylic, oil, and watercolor, the exhibit showcases the vibrant visions of an artist processing the interplay of wildness, development, and agriculture in Ventura County.

“Greenbelt” will be on view from May 11, 2024, to September 8, 2024, only at the Santa Paula Art Museum. All of the artworks will be available for purchase.

In conjunction with their current exhibition, “From Field to Frame: The PAC6 Show How It’s Done,” PAC6 Painters Linda Brown, Marian Fortunati, and Debra Holladay will be setting up their easels to paint inside the Museum, looking to each other’s work for inspiration! Visitors can walk freely between the three artists to chat and ask questions. Reservations are not required.

Admission to the Santa Paula Art Museum is free for everyone on the first Sunday of every month. Visit on Sunday, May 5, from 12 PM to 4 PM!

Every month starts with Free Family Day inside SPAM’s Cole Creativity Center. Join us on Sunday, May 5, and enjoy hands-on art activities inspired by Cinco de Mayo! Admission is free, all are welcome, and all supplies are provided.

Available in June, July, and August for ages 6 to 9 and ages 10 to 14

Let your kids exercise their creativity this summer during half-day camps inside SPAM’s Cole Creativity Center. Kids can explore ceramics, crafts, painting, drawing, sculpture, and more. All camps are $160 per week and all supplies are provided.
