Hello friends OC,
The final Spring 2018 OC LIVE is here and we end with a real bang!
The Visual and Performing Arts (VPA) department which includes DANCE, MUSIC, ART, THEATRE, COMMUNICATION STUDIES, and FILM/TV/ELECTRONIC MEDIA is putting on their SECOND ANNUAL department STUDENT showcasecalled “SOLID GOLD” on Thursday, May 10th at 6:00pm.
This event will truly highlight the OC LIVE mission which is to inspire, delight, and inform!
This is a FREE show and will include acts from all of the disciplines mentioned above. You will listen to live music, watch live folklorico and modern dance, watch dramatic monologues, observe fine art, be an audience for public speaking, and more! This has been a semester long project for VPA students (and faculty!) and it will be the FIRST time most of the students perform live on stage. This OC LIVE will be solid gold!
We want the college community and the surrounding community to know just how lively the performing arts are at OC, and we want to invite each and every one of you to watch our students perform. We hope you will share this event with your students and encourage them to attend!
