OXNARD — A groundbreaking one-day symposium, “Dementia Beyond Drugs & Disease,” will be held Thursday, March 6 in Oxnard.
Healthcare professionals, administrators, and family caregivers will hear the latest in person-centered, non-pharmacological, more compassionate, effective and dignified care for those living with dementia. Speaking at the symposium are Dr. G. Allen Power, a renowned author and geriatrician and Tony Chicotel, a legal advocate for elder rights.
