VENTURA — The public is invited to attend a hybrid meeting of NOAA’s Channel Islands National Marine Sanctuary Advisory Council in-person at Guthrie Hall, Ventura College with an option for joining online. The event will take place on Friday, March 21 from 9:00 am – 12:45 pm.
Meeting highlights will include presentations on whale research in the Channel Islands region, an introduction to Seagrass bed monitoring conducted by the sanctuary research team, and a brief presentation by the NOAA Ocean Guardians from Buena High School.
