March 10 — GranVida Being Honored by the Carpinteria Valley Chamber of Commerce

CARPINTERIA — The Carpinteria Valley Chamber of Commerce has announced GranVida Senior Living and Memory Care Community as the recipient of their Large Business of the Year award. GranVida will be honored at the 60th Annual Community Awards Banquet on Saturday, March 10th at 5 PM.

Along with being a one-of-a-kind retirement and memory care facility in Carpinteria, GranVida also chose to refashion their existing building that was once an office building on Carpinteria Avenue. It is now a beautiful residential community featuring high-end finishes, lush inviting gardens and a variety of other luxury amenities.

In addition to the traditional award recipients, the Carpinteria Valley Chamber of Commerce will also be honoring individuals involved with the Thomas Fire. Eight additional awards will be presented for the following: First Responder Heroes and Community Champions, the Carpinteria-Summerland Fire Protection District, Cal Fire, Montecito Fire Protection District, Ventura County Fire Department, US Forest Service Fire Station, CEO Office of Emergency Management, and the Santa Barbara County Sheriff’s Office.

In addition, the following will be honored at the Awards Banquet:

  • Carpinterian of the Year
  • Large Business of the Year: GranVida Senior Living and Memory Care
  • Small Business of the Year
  • Chamber Ambassador of the Year
  • Outstanding Educators of the Year
  • Junior Carpinterian of the Year

Merit awards honoring volunteers from multiple organizations including the Carpinteria Valley Chamber of Commerce, service clubs, and other local nonprofit’s.
