Haunted Mission: La Purisima

Mission history runs deep. It dates to 1787, and it was home to Chumash people and Spanish settlers. Some believe spirits of the Chumash who died here may linger.
If you want to explore, you can visit seven days a week, 9 am–5 pm. Guided tours run at 1 pm Wednesdays through Sundays (starting at the Visitor Center). Whether you believe in hauntings or just love old architecture, the Mission is a must.
