Sister Jennifer Hyatt, an instructor at the Pauline Center for Media Studies, will discuss some of the media literacy tools and skills needed to critically comprehend the media that surround us and demonstrate how to use these tools to effectively present your own messages. - The “Starting a Small Business” workshop, presented by Mary Anne Rooney, SBDC adviser, will be held from 3 to 5 p.m. Tuesday, July 15.
- A “Consultant Professional Development” workshop, presented by Joe Huggins, SBDC adviser, will be held from 8:30 to 10 a.m. Friday, July 18.
- An “Entrepreneurial Academy” workshop, presented by Huggins, will be held from 1 to 3 p.m. Friday, July 18. The program will focus on “Selling Strategies — how to build rapport, handle objections and close the sale.”
