  • Common misconceptions about independent contractors
  • Ways to combat payroll tax fraud
  • How to distinguish between employees and independent contractors
  • Statutory and exempt employment

> The 2015 Ventura County Economic Forecast will be presented at 11 a.m. Friday, Nov. 6 at the Padre Serra Center, 5205 Upland Road, Camarillo.

Presented by the Cal Lutheran Center for Economic Research and Forecasting (CERF), speakers include CERF director Bill Watkins and economist Matthew Fienup.
