The National Latino Peace Officers Association — Ventura County Chapter, 8th annual scholarship banquet, will be held from 6 to 9 p.m. Saturday, April 23 at the Crown Plaza Ventura Beach Hotel, 450 E. Harbor Blvd., Ventura.
Sheriff Geoff Dean will be the keynote speaker. David Cruz will serve as master of ceremonies.
