‘Latin Lit Lovers Mexican Dinner Buffet,’ a celebration of the great works of Latin writers de romance, folkloricos, ficcione, prosa & poesia from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Saturday, March 24 at Los Caporales Resturant & Bar, 307 E. Ojai Ave., Ojai.
An exploration of the rich classical diversity of Latin literature and emerging local artist of Ventura and Santa Barbara, share an original word or verse, or read from great works of Octavio Paz, Pablo Neruda, Julia Alvarez, Jorge Luis Borges, Isabel Allende, Carlos Fuentes, Gabriel Garcia Marquez, Julio Cortazar and others. The event is part of the Ojai Word Fest (March 24-31).
