SANTA BARBARA — The Santa Barbara Museum of Art Women’s Board is pleased to announce the return of the popular event Art of the Table, Saturday, June 7, 2025, to be held in the Museum’s art galleries. Last held in 2018, this year’s event will feature dramatic and imaginative tablescapes created by eleven designers of local and national acclaim, each inspired by a specific work of art from the Museum’s collection.

The evening begins at 5 p.m. with an exclusive preview for sponsors, offering the first look at the table designs and an opportunity to meet the designers in an intimate setting. At 6 p.m., ticketed guests will join sponsors and designers for wine, hors d’oeuvres, and a chance to view the stunning displays. From traditional and elegant dining tables to imaginative, whimsical installations, these unforgettable creations are sure to inspire and delight.
Tickets are $450 per person. Sponsorship and underwriting opportunities are available. Proceeds from Art of the Table support world-class exhibitions and innovative educational programming for the Santa Barbara community.

The Women’s Board of the Santa Barbara Museum of Art was established in 1951, ten years after the Museum opened. The Board’s purpose is to support the Museum by raising funds for its exhibitions, acquisitions, educational programs, and special projects. The Women’s Board is comprised of over one hundred active and sustaining members, who organize and sponsor fundraising events each year that also promote community awareness of and interest in the Museum. The Women’s Board is a principal funder of the highly anticipated The Impressionist Revolution: Monet to Matisse from the Dallas Museum of Art and Encore: 19th Century French Art at the Santa Barbara Museum of Art, opening October 5, 2025.
