June 7 — Community Choice Energy Forum

June 7 5:30 p.m.-7:30 p.m.

Santa Barbara Public Library – Faulkner Gallery

Join us to learn more about Community Choice Energy, a method to get cleaner electricity to local homes and businesses and provide greater local control over how that electricity is sourced.

Existing programs in Marin, Sonoma, and Lancaster show that Community Choice Energy provides a wide range of envirionmental, economic, and community benefits. On the Central Coast, the counties of Santa Barbara, Ventura, and San Luis Obispo – as well as several cities – are in the process of conducting a feasibility study for a local program.

In this free public forum, you’ll hear from leaders of communities that have successfully implemented Community Choice, and have an opportunity to ask questions about what this program might look like in our community.
