CAMARILLO — Studio Channel Islands Art Center (SCIART) presents Echoes of Nature, a contemporary Chinese art exhibition opening on Saturday, June 4, beginning at noon with a full schedule of activities throughout the day. Events will take place at Studio Channel Islands Art Center located at 2222 E. Ventura Blvd, Camarillo. All activities are appropriate for all ages and free to attend. Visitors will be able to participate in Chinese fan and brush painting demos and traditional folk dancing led by The Phoenix Family Performing Art Collaborative. In addition, there will be live demos of traditional Chinese ink painting by Nan Liu accompanied by traditional folk musician Haiqiang-Deng.
