CENTRAL COAST — Allan Hancock College is once again offering free enrollment support for students through its Bulldog Express workshops. Students are invited to attend Bulldog Express, a series of free workshops happening every Monday and Tuesday through August 12. The workshops will take place at the Santa Maria campus and Lompoc Valley Center and are open to new, continuing, and Hancock Promise students.
Students can get help with applying for admission, completing the FAFSA or California Dream Act application, doing the new student orientation, creating a first-semester plan, registering for classes, reviewing financial aid, and learning how to use the myHancock student portal.
“Here at Hancock, we want every student to have the opportunity to succeed,and Bulldog Express is designed to do just that,” said Sara Galindo, Retention Specialist for Allan Hancock College Counseling. “From the application to class registration, we’re here to support our students every step of the way and have them start their semester off on the right foot.”
Students can also receive assistance in obtaining their student ID card,buying a parking permit, setting up their myHancock email, getting free textbooks, and other essential items throughout their journey at Hancock.
Bulldog Express workshops are scheduled as follows:
- Santa Maria campus: Workshops will be held in Student Services Building A, Mondays and Tuesdays, Through August 12 from 3 – 6 p.m.
- Lompoc Valley Center: Workshops will be held in Building 1 on August 5 from 3 – 6 p.m.
