VENTURA — The Museum of Ventura County presents “Manipulations,” the profoundly introspective and symbolic work of sculptor Bob Privitt during its summer season opening reception, 6–8 p.m., June 2. The Museum is located at 100 Main Street, Ventura. Admission is free for Free First Friday.
Privitt, and adds a participatory element to the exhibit by making all of the sculptural pieces touchable. The visitor is then asked to decide, “Is It art?” Artist Bob Privitt is Professor Emeritus at Pepperdine University, and holds a Master of Fine Arts in Sculpture from Indiana University.
