OXNARD — The West Ventura County Business Alliance is proud to present Oxnard Mayor Luis A. Mc Arthur’s first State of the City address on Thursday, June 12, 2025. It will be held at Zachari Dunes on Mandalay Beach (2101 Mandalay Beach Rd, Oxnard, CA 93035) from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
With the theme “Progress, Partnerships and Possibilities,” Mayor Mc Arthur will deliver an update on the City of Oxnard’s major infrastructure investments, public safety updates, partnerships with the business community, and more. He was elected mayor in November 2024 and is a retired commander with the Oxnard Police Department.
“As the Mayor’s annual address to the business community, the State of the City presents an extraordinary opportunity for city officials and business and community leaders to reflect upon Oxnard’s progress, challenges, and vision for the future,” says WVCBA President & CEO Andy Conli.
Registration is $80 for WVCBA members and $100 for non-members, and ends June 2, 2025. After that, late registration is $100 for WVCBA members and $125 for non-members until June 11, 2025. Tickets include a three-course lunch and can be purchased online at wvcba.org or by calling (805) 738-9100.

Sponsorship opportunities are available. The Title Sponsor level is available for $3,000 and includes a table for eight and a full-page ad in the event program. The Major Sponsor level is available for $2,000 and includes six seats at a reserved table and a half-page ad. The Supporting Sponsor level is available for $1,000 and includes four seats at a reserved table and a quarter-page ad.
