110+ Parkinson’s Fighters and Supporters to Make Historic Showing June 1
WHAT:
Rock Steady Boxing VC/LA is set to make history at Senior Concerns’ 31st Anniversary Love Run (presented by Logix Federal Credit Union), by fielding the largest group ever to participate in the event. More than 100 individuals living with Parkinson’s along with Rock Steady Boxing VC/LA supporters will represent the organization on June 1 in Westlake Village, forming a record-breaking team that embodies strength, resilience, and the power of community. United through Rock Steady Boxing’s specialized non-contact boxing program for people with Parkinson’s, these participants — including a large number of people who have been attending Rock Steady Boxing VC/LA training sessions since April, will walk and run to raise awareness—and inspire hope—for those impacted by Parkinson’s disease.
