Friday nights under the stars! Arts & Lectures’ annual FREE summer film series continues for 2024 with Sun, Surf and Cinema, seven nights of beach-inspired movies under the stars

SANTA BARBARA — Get ready to make waves this summer with UCSB Arts & Lectures’ 2024 FREE summer films line-up: Sun, Surf and Cinema. The program continues with Adam Sandler and Drew Barrymore in Hawaii for 50 First Dates at the Santa Barbara County Courthouse Sunken Garden on Friday, July 19 at 8:30 pm. Enjoy pre-screening festivities including music and a performance from Hula Anyone.
ABOUT 50 FIRST DATES
Henry Roth (Adam Sandler) lives in a Hawaiian paradise with an endless supply of available women and no strings attached… until he meets Lucy Whitmore (Drew Barrymore). He and Lucy hit it off from the get-go, but the next day she acts like she doesn’t know him. After discovering that Lucy suffers from short-term memory loss and can’t remember each day, Henry decides he’ll go to any lengths to win over the girl of his dreams.
